~A mothers work is never done.

~This is going to be my first time taking part is this flash fiction challenge. Challenge and rules here.

Hey boys, how ’bout y’all makin’ yer Ma some wind chimes?”

Mike and Mika were playing with ropes and tin cans, using them as telephones. Ma was sprawled on the sofa, trying to watch her favourite reality show, but it was almost impossible with those two sitting on the carpet, in the middle of her and the television, making all that noise. All three of them looked like the product of Mc Donalds for lunch everyday.

Mike, the oldest, gave a toothless smile “Sure, ma! We`ll make da best!”

Mika, copying his brother, nodded. Mike handed Mika two ropes.

“Mika, can ya knot?”

“I can-not.”

“Good, ya do da knotting.”

Mika stared at the two ropes, before climbing onto the sofa to ask Ma for help. Mike brought more cans to Ma to ask her to make holes at the bottom of them. She sighed, but obliged- with trying to get them to quiet down, she just got more work.
